What Are The Symptoms of Bed Bug Bites?
The most obvious signs of a bed bug infestation remain the physical symptoms suffered by the human bite victim. Usually, bites are not detected until after the bug has stopped feeding due to the anesthetic the bug injects while feeding. Visible bite marks can take several days to appear on the body.
Some bite victims never develop the tell-tale marks, which often appear along the neck and arms. The most common bed bug bite symptoms manifest similar to mosquito or flea bites as swollen, red, and itchy bumps. More severe bite symptoms include skin problems, allergic reactions, and psychological symptoms such as insomnia and anxiety.
